Other Tad Bits Of Info:

- He suffers from something called Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), which means he has multiple personalities. They are triggered when something extremely dramatic, depressing or stressful occurs in his life. For example, his parents death. So far, not including his original personality, he has three others that he can 'switch' into. He doesn't know he has this, and it is kept a secret from him because Ulric knows he wouldn't be able to handle it it and would probably be lost to everyone forever.
- He doesn't have a terrible singing voice. He couldn't be a professional, but if you heard him, then you wouldn't tell him to shut up.
- He is incredibly polite and reserved in someone elses home, seen as that is how he was brought up to be like. Even if they are a close friend, it will take him a while to get out of that nature.
- He was bullied through most of his life. In high school, people loved to shove him in lockers. He was even locked in a classroom and was stuck in there overnight.
- He lost his parents when he was a young age, and he never really got over it.
- The person who killed him family had a habit of raping the youngest child in the family before he killed them, which meant before the police scared the killer away he was touched in ways he didn't want to be.
- He went mute for a year because of losing his parents.
- He inherited a lot of money from his parents, but he doesn't like to spend it is mass, only using it when he needs to. It collects interest most of the time.
- He and his sister, May, have a garage with their parents treasured things, keeping them safe.
- He has always been very close with his sister, she is like his best friend. Because of this, in high school, a rumor was started that he was sleeping with her, for reasons such as "They're so close not to be.", "He can't get anyone else." and "Their parents probably wanted to die because they found out how disgusting their kids were."
- Because of these rumors, Zaniels life was made into a living hell, even more than it already was. Bullying and being shunned became worse, and due to him being sensitive already, it hit him hard. He resorted to self harming, to which, he still has those scars on his thighs to this day. They are light and hard to see, but they are still there.
- May found out that he was self harming, and to try and steer him away from it gently, she suggested he take up painting as a hobby to distract himself. He didn't think it would work, but he found that he'd never enjoyed anything this much in his life. Painting saved him, and he loved it that much he wants to be a famous artist.
- He has a really fast metabilism, and so he could eat junk food 24/7 and he'd still stay skinny.
- He had a pretty bad immune system when he was younger, and it's still a little unstable now.
- When he has a job to do, he will focus every single bit of his attention on it to the point that he will become self destructive, skipping meals and sleep in order to do said job. Examples would be studying or painting deadlines.
- He has extremely bad self esteem issues. He always doubts himself and thinks he is pretty worthless. Not to mention, if something bad happens around him, he usually blames himself.
- He doesn't like to kill, and would rather knock his opponents out. The first time he killed someone, was in a fit of rage when he saved Ulric.

- Later on, he will lose his sister. He vows revenge and will kill the man responsible, regardless of his own personal views on himself killing. To him, that man deserves to die a painful death.

- After a few situations, his health has dramatically been affected. At one point, he had to regain his memory. At another, he had to learn how to walk again.
- Due to an explosion, debris fell on his leg and he had to go through therapy to be able to walk again. Because of this, his leg has never been the exact same as it was, and if he uses it too much (for example, excessive running or swimming etc) then it will hurt and cause him to limp.
- 'Code Zed' is his agent name, to help mask his identity.
- He doesn't like to swear, at all. He only does if he is extremely angry.
- He had long hair past his shoulders until he offered himself as bait for a mission. He was tortured by the head of Earthfall, Thane, and had his hair cut short.
- Thane also carved the word 'WEAK' into his arm. He hides that from everyone, including Ulric.
- He doesn't like alcohol, and isn't a very good drinker.
- He loves his hats, and has many different kinds to compliment his outfits. He loves them.
- He doesn't like being an agent, but does it to help "the little guys". Later on, after he finds himself killing due to revenge, he realises he is becoming someone he never wanted to be, and so he will take an extended leave of absence. He will come back later, but only as an agent for hire if ever Hidden White need his help for missions.
- His best friend is Rylan, and even though he couldn't marry May because she died, he still thinks of him as a brother-in-law.
- He is kidnapped and raped by a man named Daulton. Due to this, he switched and ended up self harming again. It got so bad that he tried to kill himself, slitting his wrists. Ulric found him and got him to the hospital before he died. For a while, all he would do was try to kill himself and argue with Ulric, but as soon as Ulric passed out due to stress and sleep deprivation he switched back to his original personality. He eventually got better.
- After being raped, Zaniel and Ulric didn't do anything remotely sexual until their wedding night, where it felt like it was their first time again.
- He doesn't like anyone seeing his scars, but Ulric helped him with that by laying him down and kissing every single one of them. He is getting better with not being ashamed of them, trying to think of them as 'battle scars' like Ulric said.
- He is kidnapped at one point by slave traders, where he is deported to another country. He is missing for months and treated as a slave. During this, his third personality is formed, where he doesn't even remember who Ulric is. It took quite a while to get him to switch back, and it only happened when Ulric pushed him and Lane out of the way of a car and was hit himself.
- He thinks of Riagan, his boss, like a second father and is devestated when he dies.
- He had to have a kidney transplant, in which Riagan donated his kidney to him.
- He and Ulric have a dog named Loki, who Zaniel found on the streets as a puppy and just couldn't walk away from. They decided to keep him and made him the healthiest, happiest dog you could ever meet.
- He and Ulric have a cat named Cotton, who originally belonged to his sister. She had named her after hers and Zani's childhood cat. They took her in when May was killed.
